About Me

I am currently a graduate student in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter College. I previously worked as an attorney in private practice for 8 years before pursuing a career in counseling. I received my undergraduate degree from Brown University and my law degree from NYU.

My Specialties

I specialize in working with adults of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, workplace trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and low self-esteem. I am also passionate about reducing the stigma and barriers to access surrounding mental health care.

What Inspired Me To Be A Therapist

As a former attorney in private practice for many years, I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling after witnessing the mental health crisis in my field. I have always enjoyed empathic engagement and felt that my understanding of high-stress professional environments would allow me to connect with many of the individuals seeking support in the NYC area.

My Approach

I believe every individual is unique but that no one should feel the need to struggle alone. My goal is to help clients develop a better understanding of themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives. I embrace an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating aspects of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and existentialist therapies to create an individually tailored process for every client.

When I'm Not Working, I Like to...

Host dinner parties and spend time with my family and dog.

Services I Offer
