About Me

I’ve been an MHC-Limited Permit holder at Purposeful Living Mental Health Counseling since 2022. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the City College of New York. Prior to working at Purposeful Living, I did my practicum at Queens College, primarily working with college students, in both individual and group settings, who struggled with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, academic issues, interpersonal relationships, identity issues, family and cultural issues, and life changes.

My Specialties

I enjoy helping clients who struggle with ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, attachment issues, trauma, grief and bereavement, stress, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship issues. I have additional interest in working with children, young adults, couples, and families and I
hope I can serve those populations to widen my experience.

What Inspired Me To Be A Therapist

I got inspired to be a therapist because of my personal experiences with mental health. I also noticed that there is not enough representation of Asian providers and thus I want to provide
back to the community and destigmatize mental health. I believe that our mental health must be treated with the same vigor we treat our physical health.

My Approach

Through an integrative approach, utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and holistic techniques, I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

With time, openness to change, and a strong therapeutic relationship, my goal is to listen and empathize with each client’s experience and collaboratively work towards customizing coping skills that will help them heal and grow; achieving the healthiest versions of themselves.

When I'm Not Working, I Like to...

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also like to explore around the city and check out different places for fun activities.

Services I Offer

I offer individual, couples and family counseling.
