  • Are you a new mom who is having difficulty bonding with your baby, maybe even lacking interest in your baby?

  • Do you find yourself crying a lot more than you feel you “should?”

  • Are you extremely irritable and restless?

  • Do you have fleeting thoughts of harming yourself or your baby?

Having a baby is an amazing and overwhelming experience. If you're a new parent, you may be feeling a range of emotions. It's normal to feel some of these things after having a baby but if they last more than a few weeks, or become more severe, you may have postpartum depression.

For many women, the hormonal changes and lack of sleep can lead to postpartum depression. This can be a very difficult and scary time. Postpartum depression is more than just the "baby blues." It's a real and serious condition that can be overwhelming.

There are many resources available to help women who are struggling with postpartum depression. If you are feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or just plain exhausted, please reach out for help. You are not alone.
