About Me

I am a bilingual licensed mental health counselor in the State of New York. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Pace University. I obtained my Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. John’s University and obtained licensure in New York State. Previously, I have worked at The Child Center of New York and NYC Well.

My Specialties

I specialize in working with adults struggling with PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Interpersonal Challenges, Relationship Issues, Self-Esteem & Women’s Issues.

What Inspired Me To Be A Therapist

Having a strong sense of empathy, I wanted to find work that would be able to utilize that in a productive way. I wanted to help people, but I also wanted to motivate them as well. When I was child, I was captivated by the movie Spellbound, which featured a psychiatrist played by Ingrid Bergman in the 1940’s. Though the movie is a bit dated, I was inspired by her portrayal of a caring and intelligent woman capable of helping others unravel the mysteries of the mind.

My Approach

I follow a cognitive behavioral approach. My approach is also solution-focused as I believe there should be a direction we are working towards.

When I'm Not Working, I Like to...

As a lifelong New Yorker, I appreciate a good walk around the city. You can find me writing, in barre class, or in school where I am getting a second Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in global mental health and trauma.

Services I Offer

I offer individual, couples, and group counseling.
